Get higher quality tours with a better camera ?

Implemented
I currently use a Ricoh Theta V camera to take my real estate photos that get loaded into cupix.  Although I get a professional to clean up the photos and make them pop I still not happy with the outcome.  I was thinking of buying the insta 360 pro camera but I am not sure weather I will see much difference.  I would appreciate some advice  and feedback on this matter.  Any suggestions will also be appreciated.

  • Hi, Marcel.

Thanks for writing in and we're sorry for the late reply. We haven't tested with the Insta360 Pro; however, we believe the image quality of the 3D tour will be better than the Ricoh Theta V. The Insta360 pro absolutely has a better image resolution and it will bring more crisp images. However, when it comes to the quality of the 3D mesh, the number of photos you capture and how accurate you follow our capturing guideline is more important than which camera you use. If you prioritize the image resolution other than anything, we highly recommend using a DSLR camera. Here's a tutorial video on how to take photos with a DSLR camera > https://youtu.be/1v1r5Vx5AZU

Also, here's a web player link that you can compare the outcome of the 3D tours made of a DSLR and a Ricoh Theta V. https://players.cupix.com/p/Zxe7T02n
